When Chivas Regal Hosted Steve Babaeko To A ‘Taste Of Luxury’

On Saturday 2nd of April, Chivas Regal, the world’s first luxury whisky, hosted the Creative Innovator, Steve Babaeko, CEO, X3M Group in Lagos.

Chivas through its ‘Win the Right Way’ Campaign and ‘Taste of Luxury Event’ celebrates key personalities from diverse industries who have succeeded in their respective fields and also give back to the community.

The strictly-by-invitation evening had great style, good taste and pure refinement on display starting with an intimate gastronomy experience paired with the Chivas range for select guests followed by a ‘Tell-It-All’ session and live music interludes courtesy X3M Music acts – Praiz, Simi, D-Truce and Sammy.

Comedian Bovi, Najite Dede and Sola Oke were amongst the high profile guests who bestowed glowing tributes upon Steve, celebrating his twentieth year of giant strides within the advertising industry. As it is the tradition at ‘Taste of Luxury’ events, Tobi Fasuyi, Brand Ambassador, Chivas, gave the Chivas25 ‘Toast to the Host’ where guests raised their glasses to Steve.

Yetunde Babaeko, renowned photographer and spouse was the perfect hostess; she mingled with the A-list guests whilst capturing each magical moment through her lens. The evening highlight came in the form of an unannounced DJ Set from the host himself. Steve spun a fine blend of Nigerian, African and International pop music delighting the likes of superstar Genevieve Nnaji and photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi inspiring the pair to hit the dance floor.
