Delta Airline is expanding its product offerings for its high net worth individuals with the introduction of the business class suites in 2017.

Bobby Bryan, Commercial Director, East and West Africa, Delta Airlines, made this known at lunch with media which took place on Wednesday at The Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja. The business cabin, which will roll out next year, will be the first ever business class suites with a sliding door, bigger in-flight entertainment screen, charging port, free Wi-Fi on board among other amenities.

In addition, he said Delta will also introduce it Delta Premium, a more premium version of the economy class. He said Delta has been working to improve its customers’ experience.

“We have been expanding our networks, investing in our products. We serve over 200 destinations from Atlanta. We fly to 66 international destinations. Our customers comfort is very important to us. It is for this reason we ensure customers can sleep well on our flights on the flat beds. It is such a long flight from Nigeria to Atlanta. We use local ingredients for our meals and we will still introduce more Nigerian meals to our menu.”

Furthermore, Bryan explained that Delta is close to flying a million passengers from Nigeria to Atlanta. According to him, although the economic situation may not be favourable yet Delta will not desert Nigeria at this difficult time.

“There was a big change this year. Delta is the only airline still in Nigeria. We have been here and we will continue to be here. We are committed to this market. We have carried almost a million passenger since started operations in Nigeria. What has sustained us in Nigeria is the incredible strong travel market in this country. Our commitment to this market is strong.”
