There is a new lifestyle space to experience when next you are in New York. It is INTERSECT BY LEXUS. It is a unique, permanent where you can experience the ethos of the Lexus lifestyle without getting behind the steering wheel of one of Lexus’ cars.
It is neither a dealership nor a traditional retail space, INTERSECT BY LEXUS is a place for guests to be entertained, inspired and educated. With two existing spaces in Tokyo and Dubai, the new addition is located at 412 West 14th Street, New York City, it serves as a creative space where ideas and people converge.
The third of its kind, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC lives in the heart of the vibrant Meatpacking District and continues Lexus’ commitment to supporting innovation on a local, national and global level. As a lifestyle hub, the New York location merges innovative programming, culinary creativity and masterful design for an immersive cultural experience that spans across three floors.
The street level is anchored by the Café area, the Crafted For Lexus retail area, and a Public Gallery space, which features everything from product concepts to custom exhibitions and installations.
The inaugural full-service Restaurant at INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC and Cocktail Bar and Lounge are located on the second floor. This space is the first of Lexus’ cultural programming destinations to feature a full-service restaurant. The restaurant showcases a rotating line up of top chefs from across the globe, each of them brings their unique culinary vision to life within the space.
A destination within a destination, the restaurant will launch a fresh concept every 4-6 months, allowing New Yorkers and world travellers to consistently embark upon a new gastronomic adventure that is fresh, innovative and exciting.
The project is a collaboration between INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC and Union Square Hospitality Group, the renowned hospitality company behind New York City’s most beloved and celebrated restaurants. If you are at the restaurant, you don’t have to bother about tips.
Adjacent to the restaurant sits a cocktail lounge that features a 360 degree round bar in the centre. Union Square Hospitality Group’s Mixology Strategists work closely with Chefs-in-Residence to create cocktails that complement the culinary menus. The cocktail menu features signature creations as well as updates on the classics, drawing inspiration from the seasons. The lounge opens Sunday-Wednesday 3 pm to 10 pm and Thursday-Saturday: 3 pm to 11 pm.
Finally, the third floor Private Gallery rounds out space, transforming for a multitude of culturally relevant programming concepts.
The beautiful design of the INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC space was created by world-renowned interior designer Masamichi Katayama and the Wonderwall team. The culinary vision for the Restaurant and Café is led by the food and beverage operations partner, Danny Meyer’s acclaimed Union Square Hospitality Group.
