Women are beginning to take over the small business terrain in Nigeria as they are coming to a knowledge on the importance of managing their brands. At the fore front of this move is Florence Olumodimu, founder and CEO, LND Productions with her initiative, Life Developers Network. She has partnered with celebrity photographer ‘Debayo Rotilu of Twelve05 Photography to help promote as many female businesses in Nigeria in 2016 at a discounted fee.
According to her, the offer includes make-up, professional photoshoot and a professional corporate video introducing each business. “In addition to the photo shoot and video, I also coach each business owner on how to build their personal brand and how to leverage social media platform in amplifying the businesses,” she says.

Fayo Williams is the CEO, Simply Exponential who participated in the photoshoot session which took place on the 2nd and 3rd of June in Lagos. She started her business with a Health and Safety Training /Supplies Company established in 1990. It has carved a niche for itself by offering a range of “own-brand” First Aid Kits.
“Simply Exponential Consult Limited which came alive more recently was born out of the need to bridge the skill gaps in Business Management thereby enabling organizations, entrepreneurs and individuals perform optimally,” she explains.
She also says the photoshoot and video recording organised by Florence Olumodimu of LDN Productions was a well arranged initiative to empower Female entrepreneurs and add a boost to their businesses. “The Celebrity Photographer, Debayo Rotilu contributed in no small way to making the experience memorable. Definitely, our offerings which include Emergency Response Training on one hand and bridging Soft Skills/Business Management gaps in order to give individuals and organisations the necessary fillip on the other, will record better visibility.”
Daba Omoregbe is the founder Zest 4 Life, a health and wellness outfit makers of Zesty juices, Zesty seeds, Zesty box. She says her perception about her brand changed after she was a part of the photoshoot. “We offer juice cleanses, health coaching. Zest 4 Life started in 2014 and was energized by the healthy lifestyle changes in Nigeria and wanted to be part of it. We are known for selling zesty juices.”

We provide healthcare services through the OMRON Medical Connect project for hypertensive patients. We partner with other healthcare providers to enable our clients access comprehensive healthcare.” In addition, she says the photoshoot will change her customers’ perception of her brand.
